It's rained!

This is so funny! I was walking my friend home n she sang 我问天！hokkien drama theme song. Right after she sang, IT RAINED! not drizzle! It's practically DOWNPOUR!! N we r in the open! this I really hilarious! We ran to a near by mac to seek shelter. n she still has the cheek to ask me if I want to eat chicken nuggets. Haha. I'm really speechless. Haha. But really funny.

Time...

So funny. When it comes to techie video stuff, I can handle. But a household appliences it's kinda tough. Was ironing my dress for wedding. Almost end up using the hair dryer instead coz the iron 'drips' water. Wet the dress. Kinda miss my mom in such situation. after some tweaking on the 'features' on the iron. Finally it functions how an iron should be.

Thank God for ppl ard me. my 'cher actually called me to talk about the toy models. Had a gd long chat with him. I'm quite enthu to be a gd modeller. But everything takes time. :)

Time flies

Time really flies after a while. Was in a cab heading to work. Every Sunday I head to work ard the same time for 6 years. Same feeling -routine, same tots - I can do better or what more can I do. One thing I do look forward to is the sunrise I c every morning. I want to fly.

Learn to b a cockroach

I am very tired of seeing myself producing the same work, same type of genre, same kinda look, same same same same!!! That's why I took up modeling! I mean model-making... Gives me a breather of what I always do.



The tank is yet to finish. still gt quite some way to go. But I like it. It's a quiet, meticulous hobby. I hope I build an aircraft carrier in the future.

Really been quite a while since I enjoy doing sth. been trying to get my life running in gd order. But I really need learn handle pressures from the top n bottom. Squash like a bug for the past 1 yr. Have to learn to survive like a cockroach. I juz haven't gt slap left right center by the world outside. till then learn to be a cockroach. Neve die!

Communication design

Every design has it's difficulty. Entertainment design, communication design, motion graphics designs, web designs... I guess ultimately at the end of the day a gd design needs to make sense n get information across visual. Not juz 'cool', 'nice' effects n elements. But to make everyone understand at the 1st look. Meaning...1-2secs? Probably, this is the difficult part of design.

my little inner thoughts

work probation...

i havent really been through it before.
mayb becoz i used to be a volunteer.
i learn and pick up things relatively fast. by God's grace.

i do remember i worked hard.
first to reach office, last to go.
whatever i do, i tried to excel the current standard.
and i did. again by God's grace.
everything i did impressed the authorities.
even to the point when i was tasked to clean up the studio. it was an A*.

am i a bit old fashion? out dated?
how come no one seem to do so nowadays.
i questioned myself.
somehow it still seem logical to make the first impression gd.

after 5 longgggggg years... i still carry the habit of excelling in whatever things im tasked to do.
by God's grace, im still surviving.
though i wont say my work is super gd. but at least some decent standard.

perhaps this is an individual race.
cant compare how fast or how slow.
life is like a marathon.
it's not about how fast you start. it's about how gd you end your run.
i wonder and wonder when will be the day i run shoulder by shoulder with those super pros out there...
